Greetings from Citronee,
A quick letter to bring you up to date on
events at Citronee.
Earlier this year, we swapped our wine shop
and deli from around the corner on York Street.
The Deli is now @110 York. Offers hot and
cold sandwiches, soup, salads, home replacement
meals, salamis and a large selection of cheeses
from around the world. We bake fresh cookies
and bread daily, order cakes and pies for
your special occasion and pick up specialty
beers and soft drinks.
Open Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00
till 5:00.
The Wine Shop is @ 320 Broad St. Occupying
the front room of the restaurant.
Our son Richard is managing the Wine Shop
and has a wonderful program going. In the
retail section, you can chose from over 250
wines from around the world ranging in price
from $10.00 to sky's the limit. In the tasting
room, we offer 5 to 8 different "flights" which
vary every week or two depending on what
is available or the time of year. Wine flights
are 3 to 4 2 1/2 oz. pours, wines can also
be sampled by the taste or by the glass,
we offer 25 wines by the glass.
To complement the wine tasting we offer a
Grazing Menu, which is a small plate menu
offering dishes such as Patatas
Bravas, Pizzaladiere, Rare Seared Ahi and
Tortilla Espagnole. We
also offer small plates of Olives, Pistachios
and Cheese plates, starting at $5.00.
Lunch is served in the front room Wednesday
through Sunday starting at 12:00
November 15, Beaujolais
Nouveau Wine Dinner,
the 8th annual Beaujolais wine dinner featuring
a family style french menu including Coq
au Vin, Cassoulet, Duck Confit and much more.
$55.00 p.p. Vegetarian selection available.

event
Thanksgiving, Order your pumpkin or apple
pies and pick them up on Wednesday November
21. You can also pick up all your condiment
needs for dinner, German Style Red Cabbage,
Cranberry Compote, Soup, Gravy and Gratin
Potatoes. We can also provide you with Organic
Turkeys and Bread Stuffing.
Orders must be in by November 18th.
